George Strait was born on May 18, 1952, in Poteet, Texas, United States, and his age is 70 years old as of the year 2022. His real birth name is George Harvey Strait Sr.
George Harvey Strait Sr. was the son of John Byron Strait Sr. and Doris Jean Couser. His father was a junior high school mathematics teacher who also owned a 2,000-acre (810 ha) cattle ranch near Big Wells, Texas.
