Regarding her career, at the age of eight Daneliya was discovered by the organizers of the Kazakh singing competition for the famous Children’s New Wave, an international contest for young performers held annually in Russia.
Daneliya won the competition and advanced to the finals of Children’s New Wave in 2015, where she won the Audience Award. Tuleshova won the grand prize in the international singing competition Hopes of Europe in January 2017.
Moreover, she auditioned for season 4 of The Voice Kids Ukraine later that year. She was chosen to represent Kazakhstan in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Minsk, Belarus, with the song “zie sen,” written by Tuleshova, Artyom Kuz’menkov, and Kamila Dairova, and composed by Ivan Lopukhov.
She finished third in the final, trailing Portugal’s Rita Laranjeira and ahead of Albania’s Efi Gjika. At the end of the voting, she had received 171 points, 68 from the international juries and 103 from the public vote, placing her sixth.
Furthermore, Tuleshova auditioned for the American television talent show The World’s Best in 2019, performing the song “Rise,” which was originally performed by Andra Day. She defeated Japan’s Manami Ito in the battle rounds to advance to the champion rounds.
Daneliya was scheduled to perform in Texas, United States, in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was canceled. Daneliya announced in February 2020, during an interview with Kazakh TV channel Gakku TV, that she would launch a new music project under the stage name “Da NeL.”
