Early Life and Education
Jeffery Michael Gordon best known as Jeff Gordon was born on 4th August 1971, in Vallejo, California, the United States of America.

Career and Professional Life
1990 -1999
Talking about his professional career, Hugh Connerty, co-owner of Hooters restaurants, helped Jeff participate in the first Busch Race in a stock car on October 20, 1990.
Jeff Gordon finished the race in 39th place. In 1991 and 1992, he competed in the Busch Series, driving Ford Thunderbirds and winning Rookie of the Year.
He set a NASCAR record and made his Winston-Cup debut the following year.
During the 1993 Winston Cup season, he raced the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet and won a Daytona 500 qualifier.
Many questioned whether he would be able to compete in NASCAR because he was one of the youngest contestants, but he beat all expectations and scored his maiden victory at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, the longest race in the NASCAR series.
He finished sixth overall in the 1994 Winston Cup season.

In addition, he won his first NASCAR Winston Cup race in 1995, upsetting seven-time champion Dale Earnhardt.
Jeff Gordon won the season with eight poles, seven victories, and a four-race winning streak in the Daytona Southern 500.
Despite a rough start in 1996, he made a comeback and went on to win ten races. He and his race crew won at a variety of places across America, starting a three-year streak of winning double-digit events.
He won his first Daytona 500 in 1997, making him the youngest racer in history to do so. The next year, he won the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte as well as the renowned ‘Winston Million.’
He completed the season with ten spectacular victories, and in 1998, he made a record by winning the Winston Cup for the third time in a row.
Gordon/Evernham Motorsports was founded in 1999 by him and his crew chief, Evernham.

From 2000 to 2013
In 2000, he won his 50th career race in the Talladega spring race. He then went on to win at Sears Point Raceway and Richmond, finishing 9th overall for the season.
In his racing career, he experienced a series of highs and lows from 2002 to 2009. His 2002 season began with a ninth-place finish in the Daytona 500, but he went on to win the Sharpie 500 night race at Bristol.
The next year, he won the Brickyard 400, making him the only NASCAR driver with four Brickyard victories.
He went on to win the Daytona 500 in 2005, as well as races at the Chicago Speedway and the Food City 500 in 2007.

Broadcasting career
Jeff Gordon entered the broadcasting industry after retiring from full-time driving in 2015. He was then hired by Fox Sports to work as a guest analyst for Fox NASCAR broadcasts.
His Fox Sports 1 debut was during the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.
In May 2015, he announced his decision to join Fox Sports as a full-time commentator for Cup Series events beginning with the 2016 Sprint Cup Series through NASCAR Race Hub.
He has actively broadcasted NASCAR races from FOX Sports.
