Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is a beauty pageant winner and entrepreneur. She won her first major title as Miss South Africa in the year 2017 on March 26. For this pageantry, she represented the Western Cape. After winning the national title, she had the right to represent her home country in both Miss World and Miss Universe in 2017.
However, the authorities sent her to Miss Universe as the dates for these two international pageantry coincided. Miss Universe 2017 was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she won the international title on November 27, 2017. The outgoing titleholder, Iris Mittenaere, crowned her the Miss Universe on this day. She also thanked her lover for his support during her farewell at Miss Universe 2018. The couple had their engagement on January 9, 2019, at her lover’s family farm in Jacksonville, Florida.
Later on, the lovers tied the knot on January 20, 2020, in Franschhoek, South Africa. Talking about her husband, Tim is a former professional American footballer who played as a quarterback. Her husband is also a former professional baseball outfielder.
