Ashish Kumar is a Boxer from India who competed in the middleweight boxing category. He was inclined towards sports since he was young.
Likewise, Ashish Chaudhary joined the Sundarnagar Boxing Academy located in Himachal Pradesh to receive his initial training in boxing when he was 14 years old.
Later on, he moved to Bhiwani to focus on his boxing career and at that time he was 16 years old.
Ashish started his boxing career by participating in a junior state competition in the year 2009 and he was even able to win the gold medal in it. Then, he was able to bag a bronze medal in the School Nationals.
In the year 2012, Ashish was able to participate in Youth Nationals and Senior Nationals. He also took part in the 35th National Games held in Kerala in the year 2015 and won a gold medal.
Likewise, Kumar made his international debut by participating in the India Open International Boxing Championship in the year 2018. However, he did not win but made it to the quarterfinals in the event. After that, he participated in the President’s Cup.
Moreover, Ashish was also able to participate in the International Boxing Tournament in Stranja, Bulgaria, in the year 2019. In the same year, he also participated in the middleweight category in the Thailand Open and won the gold medal.
