Peter filed a wrongful termination suit against the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice on August 6, 2019. Moreover, Peter asked to be reinstated and awarded back pay in his suit. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt published Peter’s book “Compromised: Counterintelligence and the Threat of Donald J. Trump” in September 2020.
