On 10 October 2019, Errol Spence Jr. got in a single-vehicle accident at around 2:53 AM, due to which he was hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
According to Dallas police, his Ferrari 488 Spider was “traveling at a high rate of speed” and then “veered left over the center median onto the southbound lanes and flipped multiple times, ejecting the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt.”
The boxer continued facial cuts, but not any cracked bones. Previously in the nighttime, Spence was consuming some alcohol.
Errol Spence was out of the hospital after 6 days and was charged with a DWI which is a class-B violation by the Dallas Police Department.
