This remarkable feat established him as the youngest player to record a triple-double in NBL history. Continuing his exceptional performance, Giddey notched another impressive stat line in the subsequent game against the Brisbane Bullets, contributing 15 points, 13 assists, and securing rebounds in a convincing 101-79 victory.
This achievement made him the first Australian player ever to accomplish such a feat in consecutive games. Adding to his impressive season, Giddey recorded his third triple-double in a thrilling 97-88 overtime victory against the Sydney Kings on May 9, 2021. Unfortunately, his active roster journey was cut short as he was dismissed on May 17, 2021.
