Edward Stephen Hall popularly known as Eddie Hall is a former British strongman. Eddie Hall won the world’s strongest man competition in 2017.
Early Life and Childhood
The former British Strongman Eddie was born on 15th January 1988 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. He is currently 35 years old.
He had anxiety problems because of this he had to sacrifice his dreams of becoming a competitive swimming star. Hall attended Clayton High School, But he was expelled when he was 15.
However, later he received home tuition. Hall’s nationality is British and he belongs to mixed ethnicity. His birth sign is Capricorn. In 2008 he started working as a mechanic at a garage. There aren’t any details about his family background.

Professional Life
In 2011 Eddie Hall became first in UK’s strongest man competition in Belfast. Hall won the competition by setting a national world record in “Viking Hold”. He also competed at national levels and became fourth in 2012.
However, later in 2012, Hall was invited to compete in Europe’s Strongest Man which was another Giant level event.
This giant-level event was held at Headingley Carnegie Stadium in this event Hall and placed at eighth ranking. Hall also competed for World’s Strongest Man in 2012 but he didn’t get qualified.
In 2013 Hall wasn’t able to qualify for Europe’s, Strongest Man. However, due to the injury of a contestant Hall got a second chance and ranked in eighth place. Later in 2013 Hall competed for the World’s Strongest Man. He won two events but he couldn’t qualify for the Finals.
In 2014 Hall qualified for the finals but he placed sixth. In 2015 hall sets the World Record for lifting 462 kg in the deadlift. Later in 2015, he broke his record by lifting a humungous weight of 463 kg in the World Deadlift Championship 2015.

In December 2015 Eddie Hall was featured in a documentary directed by Matt Bell and produced by Tom Swanston. In 2016 Hall again broke his record by lifting a massive weight of 500 kg which made him pass out.
However, in 2017 Hall finally proved himself to be the World’s Strongest Man 2017. Later he announced he had some health-related problems and shares his Intention to retire from Worlds Strongest Man and return to lower-weight competitions.
In 2018, Hall appeared on a Channel 5 show Celebs in Solitary, where he spent 5 days in solitary confinement. In 2019, Hall presented the SPORTbible web series Beasted!, where he helped 8 men through exercise plans and diet plans along with Luke Fullbrook and Chris Peil.

Eddie is already married. Hall married Alexandra Hall on 9th June 2012. She is the backbone of the former world’s strongest man. Likewise, she is a businesswoman and mom. They have two children a daughter and a son named Max Hall.
